12月6日，外国语学院于文科楼205召开党支部书记述职会议暨《中国共产党支部工作条例（试行）》学习会。外国语学院党总支全体成员、党支部书记参加会议。

  会上，学院各党支部书记先后就2018年度工作情况进行了现场述职。述职内容主要包括：履行党建责任情况、基层党建工作进展情况和成效、思想政治工作情况、存在的突出问题以及加强和改进工作的思路措施等，各支部书记认真查摆了本支部存在的主要问题并针对问题提出了切实可行的整改措施。

  述职结束后，与会成员就新修订的《中国共产党支部工作条例（试行）》进行了深入学习。学习中大家深刻认识到新时代基层党支部的重要地位、作用以及肩负的任务。面对新时代、新形势、新任务，全体党员必须自我加压，主动担当，积极作为，充分发挥党支部的战斗堡垒和党员的先锋模范作用。

  最后，学院党总支书记陈国兴进行总结发言。他强调，各党支部要就存在问题认真整改，对照党支部工作条例抓好基础建设，促进支部工作制度化、规范化，同时也要抓工作创新，与时俱进，凸显支部工作特色，注重将政治理论学习与教学科研和学科建设等工作紧密结合，提高党支部建设质量,发挥战斗堡垒作用。

The Party Branch Secretary meeting was Held by the School of Foreign Languages

December 6th, the school of foreign languages held the party branch secretary meeting and the study meeting of Regulations on the Work of the Communist Party of China (Trial) in the 205 room, Liberal Arts building. All members of the party general branch and the party branch secretary attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the party branch secretary gave a live report on the work in 2018. The contents of the debriefing mainly include: fulfilling the responsibility of party building, the progress and effectiveness of grassroots party building work, the ideological and political work, as well as the problems and the measures to strengthen and improve the work. The branch secretary carefully investigated the main problems of the branch. And put forward practical and corrective measures for them.

After the end of the debriefing, the participating members conducted in-depth study on the newly revised Regulations on the Work of the Communist Party of China (Trial). During the study, everyone deeply realized the important position, role and tasks of the grassroots party branch in the new era. Faced with the new era, the new situation, and the new tasks, all party members must self-pressurize, take the initiative, act positively, and give full play to the fighting bastion of the party branch and the vanguard and exemplary role of party members.

At last, Chen Guoxing, the party branch secretary of our school, made a concluding speech. He stressed that all party branches should seriously rectify existing problems, behave actively in infrastructure construction in accordance with the work regulations of party branches, promote the institutionalization and standardization of branch work. Meanwhile, we also need to focus on work innovation, keep pace with the times, highlight the characteristics of branch work, and focus on politics. He also mentioned that theoretical study should be closely integrated with teaching, research and discipline construction, and that would improve the quality of party branch construction.
